Joanna thank you so much for your comment. This is one of those paintings that has about three other paintings underneath it. I guess it was worth being patient for this.
I just noticed it’s oil…have you been working in oil? If I recall most of your other work was water color? If you have just started working in oil you have an amazing facility with it.
Thank you Jill. I have just recently worked up the courage to use oil and I love it! I think I am developing some patience using oil as it allows me more time to work during the drying process. However I do find I could keep working a painting forever with oil which might not be a good thing…
Once again John, thank you for your comment on my work and specifically this painting. I am so appreciative of feedback from experienced Artists as yourself, it motivates me to believe in myself and keep going…
Jackie, As I am looking at this painting, I am seeing a foaming wave crashing onto a multi-coloured shore. As soon as I looked at the painting, the sea came to mind.
I am never really sure where these places are that I paint. However I think they could be from another dimension here on earth or perhaps another planet, like Jupiter??? Thanks for your comment.
Jackie
I think this is one of your most remarkable — the collision between two abstract forces.

Wow Jackie! This is so powerful. You are really evolving. I’m so impressed.

True. It’s important to know when to stop. I’ve learned that myself.
Strong, expressionistic colour and sense of movement – absolutely brilliant piece, congratulations…

excellent painting, Jackie. It’s powerful, it looks like two forces colliding.
Ciao, Francina
Thank you so much for your comment on this one Francina. I think I was battling those two forces (head and heart) when I was painting this one.
brilliant
Thanks Isabella!

Thanks Margaret, I feel the same way about this painting
Gorgeous painting. Love the movement. Way to go. RLTE
Thank you so much for this comment and I am so happy you could see the movement.
This is really awesome! It looks like a big thunderstorm against the sky. Maybe on Jupiter.
